Emiko Sakamoto

Emiko Sakamoto was born on December 12, 1933 in Los Angeles. Following a brief and private bout battling lung cancer, she succumbed to this horrible disease on May 12, 2019. She was surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Shingo Sakamoto, her daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Daniel Polizzotto, her son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Karen Sakamoto, and her grandchildren, Allison Morimoto, Rayce Nakayama, Isabella Polizzotto, Francesca Sakamoto, Cassidy Russell and Chelsea Thomas.

We will celebrate her life on Monday, May 20th at 2p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel and a celebratory party will follow immediately at Casa Polizzotto in                Hermosa Beach.
